It has become agency tradition that we re-cap our year. It’s a chance to look back on the last twelve months that have flown by and to pick out a few favourite pieces of work from the hundreds we send out the door each year. It hasn’t been an unmitigated success. There were a handful of pitches that we didn’t win....

Sometimes a brief comes along that you just can't say no to. And when Action for Children came to us asking for an idea that would help raise awareness of their campaign to improve the lives of kids across the UK we clearly said "yes" in huge style. Which is how we came to find ourselves helping the children’s charity launch the UK’s first "Secret Santa’s Giving Grotto," a grotto experience with a twist in that children gave a gift rather than received one. ...

That's a wrap on awards for 2024 – phew! We were properly made-up to find ourselves the agency that took home no fewer than five awards - including three wins - at the PRCA Awards 2024. As ever, it’s as if not more gratifying to be up for a spread of work with three different client campaigns taking home trophies of one sort or another....

Fireworks are a massive source of distress for many dogs, with nearly half of pet owners saying their furry friends are affected by the noise. At the same time we wanted a story that would position Sky and NOW as the home of a great range of entertainment - particularly movies - over the November period as telly-land gears-up for the Christmas season and the battle for share of eyeballs over the festive period gets serious....

We’ve been helping IKEA roll out the welcome mat – or should we say duvet – for a unique shopping experience this month. The brief was to position the brand as the home of all things sleep (it’s not our first rodeo - years back we did a Breakfast in Bed Cafe and we’ve created TOG-ether bundles in the past as well)....

There’s a nom for our work with IKEA which saw us social newsjacking Balenciaga’s Towel Skirt, a campaign that caught the attention of the media and social media users alike and went somewhat wild. “We are delighted” is one of PR’s most over-used clichés. To the point that we ban it from use in press releases. First of all because it’s become so ubiquitous in quotes that it’s like wallpaper and second because, if you’re sending out a press release then it’s pretty obvious you’re delighted about it. Anyway. On this occasion we genuinely are delighted to have been named PR Week Best Place to Work for the second year in a row....
