Who is your favourite leader and why?
America has recently celebrated Presidents’ Day, but no matter where in the world you are, why not explore themes of leadership, history, and the qualities that make great leaders. It’s a chance to delve into the stories of those who have shaped the past and discuss how we can inspire the next generation of changemakers. You can look at the leaders in your family.
Here are some thought-provoking questions to consider:
- Who is your favourite leader and why?
- What leadership qualities do you admire in people?
- What’s a memorable speech you’ve read or heard? Can you find one?
- Who inspires you as a leader in your own life?
- What’s a historical moment involving a leader that stands out to you?
- If you could have dinner with any world leader or business leader, who would it be and why?
- What’s your favourite quote/s on leadership?
- How do you see leadership shaping the future?
- What is moral leadership and what does it look like?
- How can you be a leader in your family or wider community?
We’d love to hear your thoughts and how you’ve incorporated these themes into your homeschooling journey. Let’s celebrate the lessons from history while inspiring tomorrow’s leaders.
