✨ From a tiny bubble to big learning! ✨

Inspired by our little Rosie in Reception bringing bubbles into school to play with, the EYFS children decided to team up and see if we could make even bigger bubbles! 🫧

This sweet moment turned into a wonderful learning adventure. Our little ones:

🗣️ Chattered away, exploring new words like float, soapy, and pop!

🤝 Practised sharing, patiently waiting for their turns and cheering their friends on.

👁️ Chased the magic, watching the beautiful light reflections in the air.

🧠 Discovered cause and effect, learning the very important scientific rule: if you touch a bubble, it will burst! 💥

It’s amazing how much science, connection, and pure joy can come from a single bubble. 🪄💖

✨ Magical moments in EYFS! ✨

We are bursting with pride celebrating the outstanding success, literacy skills, and phonics progress of our youngest learners! 📚✨

Our children absolute love our program, and it shows! From mastering their phonics sounds to tackling those ‘tricky words,’ they are flying through their levels. But for us, it’s never just about rushing through the stages.

We believe in reading for deep understanding. Our children re-read their books to ensure full comprehension and processing have truly taken place. 🧠💡

Every single day, we listen to our children read and it’s the best part of our day! We can literally see and feel their imaginations growing and new connections being made in their minds. It is truly magical to witness. 🧚‍♂️✨

🏆 A massive congratulations to all of our EYFS children for your incredible, hard work and progress.

⭐ UKMT Maths Challenge Update! 🦘🔢⭐

A massive well done to all of our wonderful pupils who took part in the first round of the UKMT Challenge!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for diving into such complex problem-solving. Your hard work, mathematical curiosity and determination to tackle these tricky puzzles was fantastic to see. 🔢✨

We also want to wish the absolute best of luck to the 4 pupils who have achieved the wonderful achievement of being invited back to take part in the second round, the Kangaroo Challenge.

Those children will be tackling the challenging round tomorrow! 🦘📐

A huge Heath House thank you to the wonderful Mr Urquhart for delivering a spectacular assembly today! 🛢️✨

Mr Urquhart took us on a fascinating journey through the world of oil. Exploring exactly where it comes from, how it reaches us and its many uses in our everyday lives.

But the excitement didn’t stop there! We also got a brilliant insider look into the fast-paced world of trading. Our children had to think on their feet, choosing to become ‘bulls’ or ‘bears’ as they reacted to live news, announcements and global events.

We quickly learnt just how much current events shape the decisions people make every day. 🌍📊

The assembly was informative, interesting and packed with humour. (And we have to say, the genius use of AI was an absolute masterstroke! 🤖💡)

Thank you so much, Mr Urquhart, for sharing your expertise and keeping us all so thoroughly entertained!

⚓️ An Unforgettable Maritime Adventure! ⚓️

Our Prep Year 5 and Year 6 classes set sail for an incredible day of history and discovery aboard the iconic HMS Belfast!

From top to bottom, the children explored all nine decks of this magnificent historic warship. There was a genuine sense of wonder as they climbed the ladders, peered into the engine rooms and stood on the Captain’s bridge. 🧑‍✈️ 👩‍✈️

It was truly fascinating for them to catch a glimpse of what life was like at sea, learning all about the ship’s rich history, the global voyages it made and the vital role it played. ⛴️

As an extra special treat, we were lucky enough to chat with the crew of a Canadian boat 🇨🇦 anchored right alongside the HMS Belfast! The crew were absolutely wonderful, sharing stories and giving our pupils a unique bonus insight into modern life on the water.

We could not be prouder of our Year 5 and 6 children. Throughout the entire day, their behaviour was exemplary, their manners were outstanding, and they asked such thoughtful, insightful questions. They were fantastic ambassadors for our school community!💙

🇵🇹 THE LISBON ADVENTURE IS COMPLETE! 🇵🇹

Our incredible Prep Year 6 children have wrapped up their unforgettable End of Exam Residential Trip!

Today, they are making their way home after an amazing week of memories. ✈️💛

Here is a quick look back at their epic Portuguese adventure:

🌊 Monday: A delicious dinner followed by a thrilling Amphibious Hippo Trip, complete with a massive splash into the Tagus River! 🚍

🐠 Tuesday: Exploring the wonders of Lisbon, including a visit to one of the largest indoor Aquariums in Europe! 🦈

🎂 Wednesday: A huge Happy Birthday to JJ! The group received a warm welcome at Santo Antonio International School Cascais, acted as superb ambassadors and enjoyed a Tree Top adventure and beach afternoon! ☀️🌲🏖️

⚽ Thursday: A fantastic guided tour and museum visit at the iconic Benfica Football Stadium, with everyone scoring a souvenir team scarf! 🧣🏟️

❤️ Friday: Safe travels to our amazing adventurers flying home today! They have represented Heath House brilliantly, stepped out of their comfort zones and made memories to last a lifetime. We can’t wait to hear all their stories! 🛬🌍

We are so proud to announce that we have officially entered our audition tape to the ISA Band Competition 2026! 🏆

Our incredible band of 17 talented performers have been working tirelessly all year long. Balancing school work with rehearsals is no easy feat, but under the expert guidance of Mr. Mulvey, they have mastered their audition song and are ready for the spotlight. 🌟

The ISA Band Competition is a huge stage, celebrating the best musical talent from independent schools across the country.

A huge Heath House thank you to Mr. Mayers for the incredible problem-solving assembly today! 🧸

If there’s one thing we’re taking away, it’s that the best solutions usually aren’t found inside the box—they’re found by those brave enough to look beyond it. 📦🚫

Mr. Mayers challenged us to never settle for the first answer and to keep digging deeper. The secret weapon? Asking “Why?” (a lot!!)

It has certainly helped us to think about how we are going to look at challenges, both in and out of the classroom. 🗣️💡

We are super inspired to tackle the rest of the term with a fresh perspective and a lot more curiosity. 🤔

What an incredible day in Central London!

Our Reception and Pre-Prep explorers headed to for a deep-sea discovery. 🐙

The excitement started on the coach, followed by a sunny run-around at the park with views of the London Eye and Houses of Parliament.

After a quick picnic, we headed inside to meet some amazing new friends!

✨ Highlights of the Day:

• The Big Stuff: Facing sharks, turtles, and graceful stingrays.

• Tiny Wonders: seahorses, jellyfish and clownfish. 🐠

• Science in Action: Examining real shark and stingray eggs!

• Waddling Favorites: Visiting the penguins. 🐧

We are so proud of our children, who represented Heath House brilliantly, showing off our school values and wearing our crest with pride.
