That was a weekend of literal and metaphorical sunshine with a wonderful group of six teachers. A weekend full of ideas, inspiration, questions, excitement, good snacks and delicious food. We did the hard work and we also had fun trying to take selfies and breaking out in song. was an outstanding host as always.

True champions of the FIRST EVER twilight workshop. I am grateful for their hard work, generosity of spirit and great sense of humour. Being a bit goofy at times should be in the job description if we are to come out of this in one piece :-D

Time to say “Farewell, Berlin, until next time!” The museums were closed yesterday so my cultural day plan had to be heavily edited. The good feelings of the event carried me through this disappointment. What a fab group in the workshop and the event in general. Seven very inquisitive, creative, courageous and open minded educators from very different contexts working together like they’ve always known one another.

The perfect way to meet the half point of a week -any week, really- talking about literature with some lovely human beings who are exceptional educators. Living proof that teachers are not afraid of the difficult questions of our times. Peace out.
