On Saturday, 26 September, Haayed will be taking on the Battersea Park Half Marathon to raise funds for 💙
After enjoying his first half marathon earlier this year at the London Landmarks 2026, he’s excited to lace up again, this time for a cause close to his heart.
The Air League is the UK’s largest aviation charity, and Haayed has experienced first-hand the impact of our scholarships. From powered flying and drone piloting to most recently electric flying courses, these opportunities have significantly developed his aviation skills and strengthened his journey towards a career in the cockpit.
Now, he’s giving back, helping ensure more young aviators can access the same life-changing support.
Please support Haayed and help inspire the next generation of aviation talent 👉 https://ow.ly/feKr50Zezgk

Last week, supported The Royal School in Wolverhampton for their Big Bang STEM Day, alongside Time and Space Learning and The Boeing Company.
Students designed and tested cardboard aircraft, explored the theory of flight, and built key skills in teamwork and problem solving. Plus a Boeing cyber security professional shared his inspiring career journey.
"By working alongside committed educators and partners such as Time and Space Learning and Boeing, we are able to give young people hands-on experiences that build confidence, ignite curiosity and open their eyes to the exciting opportunities within our sector," says The Air League's CEO, Janine Hornsby.

Last week, took a group of students from The Royal School, Wolverhampton to the National Space Centre in Leicester to experience what space travel is all about 🚀
The day began with an exciting rocket-building challenge, as students worked against the clock to select materials, design their rockets, and launch them towards the moon, showcasing impressive creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. They then took part in a simulated journey to Mars, collaborating in small teams to gather vital data while demonstrating strong critical thinking throughout. The experience concluded with an inspiring insight into life as an astronaut, highlighting the skills, resilience, and dedication needed for such an extraordinary career.
It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and inspiration, opening minds to the endless possibilities of space travel and future careers.
