For the past six months our Head, Antonia Geldeard, has led a research team for the Girls’ Day School Trust interviewing experts from 27 companies across a broad range of sectors – from financial services to the life sciences and creative industries - about what they are truly looking for in their early career employees.

At Sydenham & Dulwich Girls, sustainability is a living culture — structural, curriculum-embedded, pupil-driven, and measurably effective. A green thread runs through every stage of school life. From litter picking to growing our own vegetables, biodiversity days to food waste challenges, we have made small steps for big cumulative impact.

We look forward to continuing with our eco work and improving our sustainability as a community.

We acknowledge that this work is ongoing and that there is always more to do. However, the commitment, energy, and genuine collaboration between students, staff, and families reflected in all of our initiatives demonstrates that we are building an authentic culture of belonging, through a commitment to continuous growth, reflection and action.

We are so proud of what we have achieved and we remain committed to going further.

We are so excited to see our new buildings heading to completion. Only a couple of weeks before we will be in and enjoying views across the London skyline!
