One week to go until our Effective Risk Registers and Assessments course.

A well-designed risk register is far more than a record of risks. It is a critical tool for informing decision-making, supporting risk oversight, and providing a clear view of the threats and opportunities that could affect organisational objectives.

Taking place on 24–25 June, this practical two-day course explores how to develop a fit-for-purpose risk register, select and apply appropriate risk assessment techniques, facilitate effective risk workshops, and ensure risk information is communicated in a way that supports action.

Designed for risk managers, internal auditors, risk champions, health and safety professionals, IT risk specialists, and others involved in strengthening risk management practices, the course provides practical tools and techniques that can be applied immediately within your organisation.

In this video, course leader Sarah Gordon shares what delegates can expect from the programme.

Why are AI skills becoming essential for risk professionals?

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded across organisations, the risks it creates can no longer be treated as a technology issue alone. From governance and regulatory compliance to operational resilience and accountability, AI is reshaping the enterprise risk landscape in fundamental ways.

In this video, Markus Krebsz, United Nations / UNECE WP.6 AI Project Leader and creator of the Enterprise-wide AI Risk Management (EW-AiRM©) framework, explains why organisations need a structured approach to AI risk governance and why traditional enterprise risk management frameworks are no longer sufficient on their own.

AI Risk Governance & Enterprise Risk Management is a two-day virtual programme designed for risk, compliance, governance and assurance professionals seeking to integrate AI risk governance into existing enterprise risk management structures. Participants will gain practical insights into the EW-AiRM© framework, explore leading global standards and frameworks, and develop an actionable roadmap for implementing AI risk governance within their organisations.
