AI, automation, data, cyber security, and digital tools are transforming the workplace faster than many organisations can adapt.

Yet many employers are still trying to solve skills shortages solely through recruitment, often competing for the same limited talent pool.

What if the answer is already sitting within your organisation?

Investing in existing employees through targeted tech and digital skills training can help organisations:

✅ Close critical skills gaps
✅ Increase productivity and innovation
✅ Improve employee engagement and retention
✅ Build confidence in adopting AI and emerging technologies
✅ Create a more agile, future-ready workforce

The organisations seeing the greatest success aren't waiting for talent to arrive, they're developing it from within.

At Code Nation we work with employers to deliver practical, industry focused training that helps teams build skills for today's workplace and tomorrow's opportunities.

AI literacy is no longer optional, it’s becoming a regulatory requirement.

The EU AI Act, particularly Article 4, signifies a major shift which requires organisations to ensure their workforce has an appropriate level of AI literacy.

💡 What does Article 4 mean in practice?
Employers must ensure that anyone using AI systems has the skills, knowledge, and understanding to use them safely and responsibly, taking into account their role and the level of risk associated with the AI being used.

This isn’t just awareness...

✅Employees must be able to interpret and challenge AI outputs
✅ Organisations need evidence of training and capability
✅ AI literacy must align to how AI is used within the business

In short: if your teams are using AI, you are responsible for ensuring they know how to use it properly.

💡 What does this mean for employers?

✅ AI skills are shifting from “nice to have” → compliance requirement
✅ Training must go beyond tools → capability, governance, and critical thinking
✅ Early adopters will reduce risk and unlock value faster

At Code Nation, we help organisations build AI-ready teams through:

✅ Microsoft focused training (Copilot, Power Platform, Business Applications)
✅ Bespoke programmes aligned to your business use cases and risk profile
✅ Practical, hands-on learning that drives real adoption and measurable capability
