🏃♀️🏅 “Our Year 7 girls’ Sportshall Athletics team competed in the London Youth Games final, proudly representing Hackney. The team finished an incredible 5th out of 33 boroughs, an outstanding achievement!
Their journey to the final saw them win the local Hackney competition, place second at the East London regional final, and finish strong on the big stage. Their dedication showed through consistent attendance at Friday morning and Wednesday break-time training, and their hard work truly paid off.
A special shout-out to Sandra and Angelesia, who placed first and second in the vertical jump and standing long jump. Sandra also secured first place in the sprint race.
Congratulations to the whole team!” ~ Mr Power at Cardinal Pole
