Congratulations to Florence, Year 11, who has been featured in The Times, Thursday 25 June.
Inspired by a visit to the Roman Baths, Florence noticed that while the audio guide was available in 13 languages, Latin was not one of them. Determined to change that, she translated the entire guide into Latin, had it reviewed by a University of Cambridge scholar, and persuaded Stephen Fry to record the narration.
The Latin audio guide is now available to download from the Roman Baths website. This is a remarkable achievement and a wonderful example of intellectual curiosity, determination and a love of learning.
Well done, Florence!

A joyous and bittersweet evening as we gathered to celebrate our Upper Sixth leavers at their farewell reception, on Monday night.
Surrounded by friends, families and staff, we reflected on the many achievements, friendships and experiences that have shaped their time at Godolphin. There was plenty of laughter, a few tears, and countless memories shared as we marked the end of their Godolphin journey and looked ahead to all that awaits them.
We are so proud of the remarkable Class of 2026 and cannot wait to see where their next adventures take them. While they will be greatly missed, they will always remain part of the Godolphin family, and we look forward to welcoming them as Old Dolphins.๐โจ

Last week, our newly appointed Head Girls Team and House Captains took charge of this yearโs annual takeover event, challenging staff to a series of classic races.
From the Egg and Spoon and Sack Race to the Three-Legged Race and Relay, who knew things could get quite so competitive?
With plenty of laughter, determination and team spirit on display, the House Captains claimed first place, closely followed by the Head Girls Team, leaving staff to settle for third. Once again, the girls proved that when it comes to taking the lead, theyโre a force to be reckoned with. ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐

Over the last two weeks we have celebrated the incredible creativity, talent and hard work of our GCSE and A Level Art and Design students at their private view exhibitions. From imaginative personal projects to outstanding technical achievements across a range of specialisms, the exhibitions highlighted the dedication and artistic growth of our students.
It was wonderful to see their work displayed professionally and shared with our school community. Congratulations to all our young artists on their fantastic achievements. ๐จ
