As we near the end of the first term, here's some feedback form one of the parents whose daughter was tutored by us..... is it time for you to look at some tuition for your child.
We have been using Peasy for around 6 months to help practice for the 11+ for my 10/11 year old. Peasy Learning are professional, understand the brief and tailor the tuition / approach accordingly with their tutors. The communication and organisation is excellent. The reports are very clear and informative. The tutor was truly wonderful! So patient, does not fluster when things have not gone to plan with late starts (our side), technology blips (our side too!), chattiness of the child! The tutor was very fair, extremely effective in her tuition, friendly but firm and helps guide the child in the right direction to get the most out of the one hour. I have been very happy with the progress of our daughter....The tuition has also helped with gaps identified in state primary school KS2 which had not been covered either due to the curriculum or COVID. A big thank you!

Why keep a dog and bark yourself?
Scroll down for the meaning of this proverb.
A proverb is a short sentence that people often quote, which gives advice or tells you something about life.
Collins Dictionary Definition for a proverb: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/proverb
The Meaning:
“You should not pay someone to do a task and then do it yourself”
“Don’t seek advice from a wiser and older person and then not follow it!”
The earliest citation of the phrase is probably Melbancke's novel Philotimus: the Warre Betwixt Nature and Fortune, 1583:
"It is smal reason you should keep a dog, and barke your selfe."
