Today, Camden Carers marks World Down Syndrome Day with our odd socks.
The odd socks are a symbol. They're bright, mismatched and a little different - just like chromosomes. Down syndrome is caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21, which is why World Down Syndrome Day is marked on March 21st.

Camden would like to warmly invite you to experience their live gospel trio event taking place on Tuesday 3rd March inside King’s Cross station, between 12-1pm to raise awareness of Lung Cancer!
An amazing gospel trio will be singing a number of uplifting songs, many about breathe, with the focus that even if we feel healthy and can breathe well, lung cancer can still be present. This is because lung cancer can often be symptomless.
That is why it is so important to go to your lung cancer screening appointment if you are asked to attend.
People who are aged 55-74, who smoke, or used to smoke, will be invited to attend a lung cancer screening. If you are asked to attend, please make sure you do. It could save your life!
So, tell your friends! Tell your family! And let's all work together to save lives from lung cancer and enjoy some amazing gospel music in the process ❤️!
