Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to let you know that the Book Fair has now arrived!

It will be open from today until Tuesday 17th March, between 3:20pm and 3:45pm, and will be held in the KS1 Hall.

All children received a £1 World Book Day token last week, and we would like to remind you that this can be used towards the purchase of any book at the fair.

As we are cashless school all payments for books can be made via a QR code, which will be available at the Book Fair. Simply scan the code using your smartphone to complete your purchase quickly and securely.

We look forward to seeing you there and hope the children enjoy choosing a new book to read!

Year 6 Fox pupils have created stunning WW2‑inspired collages and portraits. Using collage techniques and expressive portrait work, they’ve combined historical images, symbolic colours, and thoughtful design to capture the stories, emotions, and resilience of the era. Their artwork ranges from layered collages depicting life during wartime to powerful portraits inspired by real people and events from WW2.

Children and staff have had lots of fun today joining in with activities set by Mr Motivator

Dear Pinewood families,

Mr Motivator day is on Monday the 23rd of February at Oasis Academy Pinewood!

For this last week, the children have been trialling five-minute fun fitness videos in class with Mr Motivator. We want to make sure our children are having plenty of opportunities to stay active and have fun while doing it!

On the Monday after half term (23.02.26) we are having a "Mr Motivator day" where the children can dress up like Mr Motivator (Google him for images if you're not sure!) or come to school in fitness clothes (no football kits please).

On this day we will be taking part in a whole EYFS and KS1 and KS2 Mr Motivator fitness event.

We will have a new menu after returning from the half term.
Please see the menu attached. The menu commences on Monday 23rd February and we will be on week 1.

We will also have a special menu on Wednesday 25th February. Come and join us for Chinese New Year Lunch!
