We're growing tea, together. The Seed to Sip project launched last month (May) to kick off our 10 Year celebratory events. ๐
There's so much to share on the developments of the families and schools involved so far. You can get involved too, more details are included on the website link. Link in bio.

Do you feel uncomfortable wearing your natural hair to work?
On our LinkedIn page this week, we discussed wearing your natural hair to work!
Does it depend on where you work?
Or does it depend on how you feel? Or both?
Let us know - join the conversation
Encourage your community group, family, school or workplace involved! Especially as May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Gardening is so therapeutic.
Mint, Lemon Balm and Calendula are the three seeds we are sowing for Seed to Sip, as part of our Screen Time to Green Time - Growing Together project.
There are so many similarities between growing hair and growing tea and for our 10th year anniversary, World Afro Day are inviting you to take part in our activities and events:

โ๏ธEarlier this week I took this photo on a walk outside. It's so lovely to connect with nature, smile and take in the fresh air.
I'll be quite busy this Bank Holiday at a few events, so if you do see me, come and say hello!
The Seed To Sip project is live, so if you're taking part, don't forget to share your updates with us!

From Parliament to children in Early Years, this year has been history in the making.
2025 was our ninth anniversary and we created something for everyone achieving a Guinness World Record for the most users to take part in an online cultural awareness lesson in 24 hours! We were in Parliament with Business Leaders, touched the nations of Australia and Cape Verde in our Ambassador LinkedIn Live, and launched in nurseries with our Little Seeds initiative in partnership with the National Day Nurseries Association!
A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible โ MPs, business leaders, educators, WAD Ambassadors and supporters who stood with us to celebrate Afro hair and identity.
