This is one very happy chappy! Ashley passed his driving test yesterday at Hornchurch Test Centre with a lovely confident drive. Examiner enjoyed the ride and could “quite easily to it again”!

Well done Ashley, although our time together was brief, I know we will stay in contact!

It was an early start to the day with a pick up at 6:10 🥱

But it was definitely worth it. We only booked the test on Wednesday but Alfie was totally ready for it.

Well he went and smashed it by passing with just one driver fault, FIRST TIME!

I’m so proud of this young man - he has been a sponge, soaking up everything that I’ve asked of him.

So proud of this young lady! Worked her backside off getting all the way to Colchester for her test and then passing with just 1 driver fault!

Given that she didn’t know the area very well I’d say that’s one confident driver going out onto the roads as a safe driver!

So proud of this amazing lady. After having her test postponed this week she smashed it first thing this morning!!! With only 2 driver faults I’d say that was worth the wait!!!

After driving lessons???

Unfortunately due to all the COVID restrictions, the amount of people that want lessons far out ways the number of driving instructors available. There have been a lot of instructors who have made the decision to either retire or not to return back to work until they feel safe because they have vulnerable people at home. As there has been no testing, then no new instructors have been able to start work.

At the moment you are looking at a 5 month wait for a driving test.

I like many driving schools have waiting lists anywhere from 2 - 4 months plus.

One of the problems at the moment is students who are “panic booking” tests because they know of the waiting times. They then try to find an instructor without luck. Doing this is only making it more difficult for everyone and especially those who have instructors and are ready to take tests.

Please do not book a test unless you have a driving instructor in place who has agreed a time line for your instruction.

These are unique and difficult times, so please be patient. Find an instructor first then book a test when you’re ready.

My current waiting list is the end of July.
