Welcome to the 2021 Impact Investing Challenge, in collaboration with Temasek!

The Impact Investing Challenge 2021 is open to undergraduate students from all degree backgrounds and levels of experience in investment with the aim of introducing them to the world of fundamental investing and the investment industry.

In partnership with Temasek, the Imperial College Investment Society, Cambridge Investment Banking Society, Trinity Student Managed Fund and UCL Economics & Finance Society are proud to offer students from the UK and Ireland a valuable opportunity to both develop their investing skills and compete to win attractive prizes - including a final round interview at Temasek for Temasek's 2022 Associate Internship Programme (for students graduating in Winter 2022/ Summer 2023 only!)

In addition, there will be an exclusive technicals workshop and networking session for all registered participants.

Coming soon... the Securities Education Certificate... starting in October!

In collaboration with Imperial College Finance Society we’re redeveloping the course with a refresh of the syllabus and a whole new & colourful slide layout to make the course more engaging and enjoyable to learn than ever before!

The SEC is a certificate that delivers on fundamentals and technicals for a career in finance and investment. Topics that will be covered this year range from Sales and Trading to Private Equity and Quantitative Analysis. Upon completion of a graded exam at the end of the course, you will be given a certificate that you can present on your CV and to prospective employers!

Registration will open in early October, and lectures will begin shortly after.

We are partnering with Accelerate to bring you the Investment Soc x Accelerate event to assist sixth-form students from BAME backgrounds with their university applications and career preparation in the financial industry!

The one-day event will take place on 31st July and will include mentor talks, CV & interview tips, and finance workshops.

Accelerate is a student-led STEM outreach initiative, primarily focusing on educating BAME students (although not limited to this demographic) who are pursuing STEM based degrees and related career paths. Accelerate offers help to sixth form and university students and provides mentorship scheme with mentors from LSE, UCL, Imperial, Cambridge and Queen Mary.

Accelerate is co-founded by Imperial postgraduate students Jasneet and Simran. Accelerate has recently been highly commended for the Student Award for Excellence in Societal Engagement at Imperial’s recent President’s Awards.
