Let me introduce myself (I probably already have, but it’s been a while!)

I’m Leila, I’ve been bootstrapping this beautiful project for a few years now and boy is it hard, like a car running on fumes, I’m running on pure passion! 🎶🎶🎶

Im a singer, and like so many, would love for my music to be heard, but I don’t necessarily want to get into the industry and try to get signed, and this is when I hit that famous rock and a hard place!

Learning as much as I could from the Producer I was working with, I was informed that to get music licensed you need a publisher and yet, to get a publisher you need to have already licensed music (shall we call the publisher the rock!?)

Wow was I frustrated, I’d go as far as to say I was angry, 😡 with the way the whole industry worked, how hard it was to proceed with building a music career outside being a mega star ⭐️

This turned my head toward music licensing libraries, which is when I got smack in the face number 2!
With an Inch thick contract in hand basically signing the rights to my music to someone claiming it’s now theirs! it was looking dismal! And on top of that I only got a couple pence chucked my way, for my trouble! 🤪

Things had to change………

Make Music Day is an annual, international celebration of music held every year on 21 June, now in 125 countries and over 1,000 cities.

Well well, a day dedicated to the thing we love most! Go make some music and put it up somewhere for everyone to hear 📢 I’m going to!

Nostalgia is one of the strongest forces for purchase, tapping into fond memories like the unsuspected, albeit an invaluable brand strategy 🌟

This is why brands want great tunes for their campaigns, games need envoking tracks and movies, well movies just take us to beautiful land far far away with their soundtracks.

On another note, we all know music has a positive influence on mental health and let’s face it we all need that in bucket loads right now! ♥️ (more on this)

🖼 A picture tells a thousand words, as the saying goes!

I find images truly valuable to enhance feelings, images help us learn, images grab attention, mood-boards is the language of creatives, I’m always banging on about this and for good reason!

But regardless, language is still used for everything, as we navigate our way around, words with all different meanings. This will always have barriers and disparity due to all the different languages of the world. 🌎

As some of you know I was working alone for some time on this project and since hooking up with my main man Tom and I have been working hard to get this project to where we are now.
