Last weekend, we celebrated our official School Summer Fete, and what a truly wonderful day it was! It was incredible to see our school community come together to enjoy the sunshine and festivities. The friendly, happy atmosphere around the grounds was absolutely amazing.
There was so much to see and do! We all enjoyed a fantastic range of stalls, incredible live entertainment from Olivia Lynn, family games, beautiful face painting, and our grand raffles. A definite highlight was Splat the Teacher, where it was quite obvious that a few of our pupils (and perhaps some parents!) came back looking for a bit of lighthearted revenge!
A Huge Thank You!
To the Friends of Someries (FOS): An enormous thank you for your tireless hard work in organising and running such an amazing event. We are so grateful for everything you do.
To Our Community: Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported the fete. Your generosity and enthusiasm are what make our school so special.
Thank you all for making it a weekend to remember!

Year 5: Spreading Kindness Across Our School!
We wanted to share a quick update and express how incredibly proud we are of our Year 5 students. They have been working hard to demonstrate our school values through beautiful Acts of Kindness, and the impact is being felt by everyone!
Caring for our Environment: Helping to keep our school tidy by cleaning and organising classrooms and corridors.
Building Community: Organising inclusive games so that every child has someone to play with at break times.
Standing Up for Others: Promoting anti-bullying by offering gentle guidance, advice, and a supportive ear to their peers.
Celebrating Success: Handing out excellence awards to recognise and appreciate the unique skills and wonderful character of other children.
The Ripple Effect: These wonderful acts of kindness are creating a positive chain reaction across the entire school, helping us all recognise and appreciate just how blessed we are.
A massive well done to Year 5 for your leadership, maturity, and big hearts! Keep up the amazing work.

We are incredibly proud we are of our Year 6 children after their official Acts of Kindness Day in our local community. They were absolute credit to themselves and to our school!
Our students spent the day spreading joy and making a positive difference right on our doorstep. Their brilliant efforts included:
Litter picking to clean up and beautify our local streets.
Helping local stores by pitching in to keep their shelves neat and tidy.
Random acts of love and appreciation shared directly with local residents.
The kindness of our students brought so many smiles to people's faces today. From the smallest gestures to the biggest helping hands, they truly lit up the neighbourhood.
We hope the wonderful examples they set send a positive knock-on effect across the entire town. Thank you for raising such thoughtful, hard-working, and community-minded children!
