This week's is all about Roblox

Before half term, children from KS2 took part in a cross-country relay event against other schools from the town. As always, the children were brilliant role models, demonstrating many of our school Values while at the event.

In our last Stay and Play session, the children were able to explore our 'Happiness Garden' and even planted their own sunflower!

KS2 had lots of fun in the sun before half term! The children have a wide range of activities to choose from, including giant Lego, Jenga and Kerplunk, as well as basketball, skipping ropes and ball games.

We are looking forward to seeing you all back at school tomorrow morning!

This half term's Values Role Models were announced in our last assembly of the half term. Congratulations to Mustafa, Alina, Ariana, Maya, Judie, Zarah, Armani, Millie and Luke. Our adult role model was Mrs Lynch. Well done to them all!

Year 3 children have been focusing on the story of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in English lessons. We invited Dawn in from ‘The Melting Pot’ to lead a chocolate workshop with the children. She taught us about the history of chocolate, where cocoa beans are grown and then helped us to create and decorate our own chocolate lollipops. We also designed our own chocolate bars and tasted six different types of chocolate. We all had a great afternoon!

This half term's House Point winners were Van Gogh house. Well done to everyone in Van Gogh. Enjoy your reward of extra playtime today.
