To keep the children cool in the heat Mrs Gillespie treated everyone to an ice lolly.

A reminder of our Parent Forum happening tomorrow from 9.00am - 10.00am. We hope to see you there.

From Wednesday through to Friday this week we will be serving a picnic lunch only. If you child normally has a school dinner a picnic lunch will be provided. No hot food will be served over these three days.

Look at our amazing vehicles we made at home with our daddies to celebrate Father's day. We even had a vehicle made with flashing lights. Congratulations to the winners and for all children who took part.

This week nursery, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 were able to dodge the showers and they enjoyed their sports days. All of the children were able to take part in running, throwing and kicking activities to showcase their sporting talents. The children were cheered on by their peers and their adults as they raced down the track hoping to earn a first place sticker.

Great sportsmanship and teamwork were on show as the children supported and encouraged each other to be the best they could be. Once all the racing had finished, we were proud to present the winning house team with the trophy! Next week, reception will have their rearranged sports day on Monday 22nd June from 1:30pm -2:30pm.

2A took advantage of the sunshine today and decided to take their learning outdoors. They had a fantastic time soaking up the sunshine and deciding whether they will be using a fixed or rotating axle for their vehicle.

1D had a brilliant sports day! After they competed in various activities and races, they learnt about the World Cup and focused specifically on 'Colombia'. We found it on the map, coloured in the Colombian flag and looked at the football kit that they wear. It was very interesting. We were very proud of all their hard work.

Reminder: Tomorrow is the sports day for Years 1-6.
Year 1-3 will start at 10:00 and finish at 11:30
Year 4-6 will start at 1:15 and finish at 3:00

Please make your way to the nursery gates which will be open 10 minutes before the start of the event and remain open until 10 minutes after the event has started. If you are later than this then you will have to go to the main school gate.
