🥐☕ What a wonderful week we've had! 🖍️✨

We had an absolute blast at our Father's Day Breakfasts on Wednesday and Thursday this week. It was fantastic to see our hall packed with so many dads, grandads, and special father figures enjoying some quality time with the children.

Here’s a quick recap of the fun:

🥐 Delicious Pastries: Plenty of sweet treats to kickstart the day.

🥤 Squash & Chats: Lots of catching up and morning refreshments.

🖍️ Masterpiece Colouring: Some seriously impressive artistic skills on display from both the kids and the adults!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made them such vibrant, lovely events for our school community.

🦉🎨 Creativity in Owl Class! 🎨🦉

Our wonderful Owl Class had an absolutely fab, artsy afternoon getting hands-on and creative! The children have been hard at work designing and making some incredible props for their upcoming end-of-year performance. 🎭✨

A massive thank you to the very talented parent who came in to support, inspire, and help guide the children with their creations. We are so incredibly lucky to have such a supportive school community! 🙌❤️

The countdown to the big show is officially on, and we can’t wait for you all to see these props in action on stage!

This week, our school community is reflecting on World Refugee Day. At Sundon Lower School, we place kindness, empathy, and respect at the heart of everything we do! ❤️✨
In our assemblies and classrooms this week, our children have been learning about what it means to be a refugee. 📚🤝 We've been exploring the incredible courage and resilience of people forced to flee their homes, and discussing how we can ensure our school always lives up to our promise of being a safe, welcoming, and inclusive place for everyone! 🏫🤗
We are so incredibly proud of our pupils for their thoughtful insights, deep empathy, and big hearts! 🌟 You make our school a wonderful place to be! 🌈🎈
