☀️🌿 We had a beautiful morning celebrating the Summer Solstice! 🌿☀️

The sun was shining, and we stayed cool beneath the shade of the trees while enjoying a wonderful morning of exploration and creativity.

This morning, the toddlers:
🎨 Painted sun catchers
🏖️ Played in our beach area
🧪 Made Summer Solstice potions
🌱 Explored a variety of herbs through sensory play

To finish our celebration, we gathered around the campfire and cooked delicious waffles and croissants together. 🔥🧇🥐

🌊🐚 This morning we celebrated World Ocean Day! 🐠💙

Our toddlers enjoyed a wonderful ocean-themed morning as they:

🎨 Painted seaside tea light candle holders
🏖️ Played in the sand
🦀 Used stamps to create a collaborative piece of ocean artwork
♻️ Helped rescue ocean animals from plastic waste

We then gathered around the campfire to cook cheese and crackers and enjoyed delicious banana boats together. 🔥🍌

A morning full of creativity, exploration, and learning about the importance of protecting our oceans. 💙🌎

🌍💚 World Environment Day 2026 💚🌍

We had a wonderful morning at Forest School celebrating World Environment Day!

The children enjoyed painting their own wooden plant pots before planting a basil seed to take home and nurture as it grows. 🌱

We explored sensory play with natural playdough, helped rescue ocean animals from plastic waste, and shared stories about recycling and caring for our environment. ♻️🐢🐠

To finish our morning, we gathered around the campfire to cook delicious waffles and croissants on a stick. 🔥🧇🥐

A fantastic morning of learning, creativity, and outdoor adventure while discovering how we can all help protect our planet for the future. 🌎✨

This morning we had a change of forest and held our Friday toddler session at Little Muddy Me 🌿

The toddlers thoroughly enjoyed exploring the space, playing in a different mud kitchen, and climbing different trees. This week’s theme was minibeasts, and the children had lots of opportunities for hands-on learning and fun 🐞🕷️

They painted their own minibeasts to take home, made clay spiders, learnt how to gently dig for minibeasts using paint brushes so we don’t harm them, and rescued pretend minibeasts from the ice!

Everyone also enjoyed cooking a hot dog on a stick over the campfire 🔥 before we finished the session with some minibeast songs and a reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛📚

A lovely morning full of exploration, creativity, and outdoor fun!

Today we enjoyed celebrating World Bee Day in the beautiful sunshine! 🐝☀️

The toddlers enjoyed making pretend honey, helping the bees fly, and playing in the forest. We ended the session gathered around the campfire for honey porridge and the story ‘Betsy Buglove Saves the Bees’. 🍯🔥📚

🌿✨ Kids Get Crafty and Evergreen Explorers Forest School held their first weekend collaboration at Little Muddy Me! ✨🌿
We celebrated Nature in Spring with a wonderful morning of woodland adventures, beautiful spring crafts, and campfire cooking. The woodland was filled with creativity as everyone enjoyed making nature-inspired crafts, toasting marshmallows, and cooking cheesy ‘spring’ pasta over the fire 🔥🍃
We had such a lovely time together and are already looking forward to our next collaboration! 💚

We absolutely loved receiving this feedback from a parent after one of our Back to Nature birthday parties 🌿🔥⚡️

For Ollie’s special Pokémon-themed celebration, the children spent the morning immersed in nature - making clay Pokéballs, building dens to protect them, and finishing the adventure around the campfire cooking hot dogs and s’mores together 🪵🍫🌭

“Thank you so much for hosting us such a fantastic 6th birthday party for Ollie today. The parents all loved it as much as the children and it was so lovely watching them all get stuck in and work collaboratively together. All the parents were commenting on what a great unique idea it was for a party, and made a nice change from a trampoline park!

Thank you so much for incorporating Ollie’s interest in Pokémon too - it made the party feel really personal. We loved the thoughtful little touches like the Pokémon plates and cups to take home too.

All of the activities were well planned and organised and there was enough time for each element.”

What a lovely morning spent pond dipping at the beautiful nature pond at Braywick Nature Reserve 🌿💧
We discovered all sorts of fascinating pond creatures, including tadpoles, pond snails, damselfly nymphs, and water boatmen. The children loved exploring the pond and learning more about the wildlife living beneath the surface 🐸🐌
To finish the session, we gathered around the campfire to enjoy hot dogs and s’mores together - the perfect ending to a fun outdoor adventure 🔥🌭
