š ONE WEEK TO GO!!!
This time next week I will be at the beautiful Victoria Hall in Saltaire for the Makers Fairā¦and I canāt wait!!
Itās going to be a fun packed weekend as the Arts trail is on in the village and you can visit some of the houses that will be showcasing artists work, there are workshops and seed talks too and , of course, a wonderful market full to the brim with talented independent makers of all disciplines.
The fair is on the Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday and Iāll be bringing lots of collage goodies š
I have really tried to create pieces at all different price points so that hopefully there will be a piece of art available for most budgets!
Please come and say hi if you are in Saltaire next weekend š„°

šŖ”āļø. I finally finished the collages and embroidered photograph and I have to say, Iām very pleased with the end result!
Lots of little details on this one to bring this old black and white photograph back to life and I love the tactile and slightly 3D quality the stitches and fabric lend to this piece.
It was a lot of fun to work on and the whole time I worked on it I couldnāt help but think about these two children and what their lives may have been like, where was this photo taken? What were their names? Did they lead good and happy lives? Anyway, hope you like it
