Great to spend some time with Chris Baxter from North Star Esports discussing plans for establishing an esports centre and the opportunities it could create for young people and the wider community.
It was an insightful conversation covering the potential of esports to develop digital skills, teamwork, creativity, and pathways into the technology and gaming industries. Exciting ideas are taking shape, and we're looking forward to exploring how an esports centre could become a hub for learning, innovation, and community engagement.
Thanks, Chris, for sharing your expertise and vision. We're excited about what the future could hold.
Teaching and inspiring the next generation of innovators!
We explored the exciting world of automation, robotics, and future career opportunities, giving students hands-on experience with VEXcode VR and showing how coding and technology are shaping industries around the world.
It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, creativity, and problem-solving as students tackled challenges and developed their programming skills. The future of STEM is looking bright!
A huge thank you to the students and staff for making it such an engaging and enjoyable day.

The Code Inventorz team had a fantastic day at the First DigitALL Conference this week. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the charity, the important work it does, and the many institutions and organisations it collaborates with to create positive impact.
Thank you to everyone involved in delivering such an insightful and inspiring event. We left with new ideas, valuable connections, and an even greater appreciation for the power of digital inclusion and collaboration.
β½π€ When Plans Change, the Fun Continues! π€β½
Unfortunately, yesterday's lesson was cancelled... but that didn't stop the excitement at Code Inventorz! π
With some unexpected free time on our hands, it was the perfect opportunity for an epic game of Sphero Football! π
Students took control of their Sphero robots, putting their driving skills, teamwork, and quick reactions to the test as they battled it out on the pitch. From last-minute saves to spectacular goals, the competition was fierce and the laughs were non-stop! πβ½
At Code Inventorz, learning isn't always about sitting behind a screen. Sometimes it's about getting hands-on, having fun, and discovering new ways to use technology through play.
Who do you think would win the Sphero World Cup? ππ
