DIY with Anja

A couple of drill jobs today at a lovely client's in Newton Heath. A curtain pole had come off the wall (because the screws used by the boyfriend were too short and the holes not deep enough to accommodate the plugs) and needed proper fixing and a tv bracket needed putting up. All sorted now and nice and secure.

Here is what I do when I don't do DIY... :)

I had the best time at the Ethiad Stadium last night seeing Take That.

I've been a fan since the early days in 1993 and had penpals all over the world swapping posters and photos of the lads as a teenager in small town East Germany.

Never did I think that 33 years later I would still be seeing them live and getting such a thrill out of their music and performance.

Before changing my career to do hands-on interior design and diy classes, I was a freelance journalist. Partly so I could interview my favourite pop stars (cheeky, right?!). I got to talk to Gary for an hour in his studio in London about health, diet and fitness stuff for the lifestyle pages of a big German broadsheet paper. That was fun 😊

Now I'm happy just to dance and sing away at their shows.
