🌟 A warm welcome to our future SMRCHS students! 🌟

Over the next few weeks, we are delighted to be welcoming Year 5 pupils from our partner primary schools to SMRCHS for a series of exciting Taster Mornings.

So far this week, we have hosted pupils from Mount Carmel, who enjoyed hands-on sessions in Art 🎨 and Science 🔬. During their visit, they also had the chance to meet our Student Leaders, ask questions about life at secondary school, and experience what it means to be part of the SMRCHS community.

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, curiosity, and confidence throughout the morning. We look forward to welcoming many more pupils from our partner primary schools over the coming weeks and continuing to build strong relationships with our future school community.

We can't wait to see many of these young people back at SMRCHS in the years ahead! 💙

Yr 10 representing SMRCHS as they presented their idea for a wellbeing app at the Safeguarding Children in Manchester event.

The students will now be working with Manchester City Council and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to develop their idea, which will help support children across Greater Manchester with their mental health 💜💚

30 pupils enjoyed a fun-filled reward trip in recognition of their commitment and achievements throughout the year.

Pupils were selected for their outstanding behaviour and for representing the school in a range of inter-school competitions. This trip was a well-deserved reward for their positive attitude, dedication, and excellent conduct.

Lovely gesture after school today from our former pupil Taysmcr

Tays provided and served lots of ice cream to our pupils and was happy to take lots of selfies on request! A very kind young man, giving back to his local community!
