The children had a lovely time visit our local centre this morning for a stay and play session.

Exploring Insects!🐞🌿
This morning we explored insects in our tuff tray, we used many natural materials such as logs, sticks, oats, tea and couscous, as well as toy insects, tweezers and magnifying glasses.
We spoke about insects and where they live, we looked closely at the insects finding any hidden ones and talking about their features.🐝🌱
This helped with communication and language, talking about what we are doing and how we are doing it. This helped with understanding the world looking at what insects are and how they look like. This helped with physical development, using tweezers to pick up insects. 🪲 🍃

🌟 Longsight Nursery Refurbishment Update 🌟
As many of you know, we’ve been busy giving our Longsight nursery a well-deserved refresh! The nursery is approaching 10 years old, and our reception area and hallways were ready for a new lease of life.
We understand that maintenance work can sometimes be disruptive, so we’ve carefully planned the project during a quieter period and have worked hard to minimise any impact on the children. Throughout the refurbishment, children have remained in separate areas of the building and have followed a dedicated pathway for arrivals and departures to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable.
We’re incredibly excited about the improvements and can’t wait to share the finished result with you. In the meantime, take a look at some of the inspiration behind the new look and feel of these spaces! AI mock ups to show our amazing inspo.
