The chickens have settled in well and are enjoying the full run of their coop after school. During the daytime, for now, they’ll stick to their hutch and run. They were very popular today!

Mrs Riley is all set-up at basecamp and is getting acclimatised to the altitude, ready for her big walk to the summit!

Any current year 5 children looking for a team?

The Harpurhens have arrived! For the first week, they will be staying in their run and hutch. Once they have settled in, we’ll be opening up the hutch to give them full access to the hen house.

We are excited to be holding lots of sports days (afternoons) this week

Monday: Y5/6 at 1pm (Y6 racing first - should get to the track by 1:15)
Tuesday: Y3/4 at 2pm (Y4 racing first)
Wednesday: Y1/2 at 1pm (Y1 racing first - should get to the track by 1:15)

The event is split in 2: Yard events on the playground and races, opposite the new sports pitches off Lathbury road (where the zebra crossing is). The usual place!

Rules for spectators:
You can only take photos of your own child.

Please do not post pictures on any public platform.

You can go around the yard events with your child’s team - you’ll get a much better view that way. Please encourage and support all team members.

Cheering is encouraged!

If you will need to sit down, we advise bringing a camping chair.

Please don’t block the path when watching the races- MCA students will need to access this for PE lessons and end of the day exit.
