What an incredible experience for Jake Roberts in Year 8!
While supporting a Young Leaders event at Leigh Sports Village, Jake had the opportunity to meet Leigh Leopards player Umyla Hanley. Umyla took the time to chat with Jake about his role at the event, his favourite school subjects, and life at school.
To make the experience even more special, Umyla later visited Jake at school and presented him with a pair of signed training shoes. A wonderful example of kindness, encouragement, and inspiring young people both on and off the field.
Our Year 11 students had a guard of honour as they left Freddie’s for the final time today, with our Year 10s applauding them. It was an amazing ‘Changing of the Guard’ send-off. Good luck to them all.

Year 9 students who have opted for Art, Graphics and Photography visited MMU School of Art today for The Degree Show.
The show celebrates the achievements of this year’s final-year students with a showcase of work from across Art, Design, Fashion, Digital Arts, Performance and Architecture.
