Co-op Academy Manchester

On Monday, Mrs Wright and Ms Smith took four of our brilliant students to the Co-op Academies Trust headquarters at Angel Square. Their artwork was chosen to be displayed in the finals of the "This is Me" art competition!

Our students spent a fantastic day seeing their work displayed, taking part in creative workshops, and learning from a professional artist.

We're so proud of how they expressed their unique identities and values. Myla said it best: "You should always be yourself."

They didn't win the top prize, but they gained an unforgettable experience and showed everyone what makes Co-op Academy Manchester so special.

The Community Fridge will sadly be closed today as we work hard to restock after last week's missed deliveries.

Our brilliant Year 9 students recently visited Ada, the National College for Digital Skills.

Students who are choosing to study computer science got a real taste of the future. They explored exciting digital careers and learned how to build safe, helpful technology that empowers people.

They also teamed up for a cyber security code-breaking challenge! It was a fantastic day of teamwork and learning new skills for life.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Year 7 Luca! 🏉

Luca has been selected for the Salford Red Devils Foundation Future Talent Programme! Only 70 players across Years 7, 8 and 9 made the squad. He’ll now train with professional coaches toward his dream of the first team.

Mr Mills says Luca is a brilliant role model who always shows our Co-op values. We are so proud of you, Luca! 🌟

It was great to see so many at our Let's Grow Together event this morning. 🎉

We welcomed neighbours and local families, plus the brilliant children, staff and volunteers from the Equal Education Chances holiday club. We loved planting together and making our school community even stronger.
