Ready to learn about strengthening welfare and wellbeing in sport? Join Active Partnerships on 10 June for a one‑hour webinar on the Sport Welfare Officer Network.

Led nationally by Active Partnership National Organisation (APNO), the SWO Network was established in 2023 and brings together Sport Welfare Officers based across England’s 42 Active Partnerships. The network works alongside National Governing Bodies to strengthen the welfare support available to clubs and organisations.

During the session, partners will explore:
- What Sport Welfare Officers do and why the network exists
- How the network is supporting different sports and communities
- How local and national systems are being better connected
- Early outcomes, impact and learning from the programme
- How this work is helping clubs build a stronger culture of welfare and wellbeing

Partners will also explore emerging findings from the national evaluation being led by Ecorys UK, including what’s working well and where there are opportunities to learn and improve.

This webinar is open to anyone working or volunteering in sport who wants to help create safer, more supportive sporting environments.
