I've had a few new followers, so I've decided to reintroduce myself.

Hi, I'm Rachael and I am the proud owner of Hartbeeps Milton Keynes.

I'm lucky to have grown up close to my older sister and brother, and that bond has stayed strong over the years. Before motherhood, I spent almost 10 years as an
Early Years and Key Stage One teacher, and I loved every minute of it.

In 2020, my first daughter arrived (in a rather strange year for everyone!), and becoming a mum was harder than I expected, but reaching out to others made all the difference.

By 2022, when my second daughter came along, things felt a little easier, and watching my girls grow so close to each other has been one of the best parts of it all.

In 2024, I stumbled across Hartbeeps with my youngest and fell in love with Happy House sessions. As a teacher, I appreciated how everything was planned around the Early Years curriculum, and as a mum, I watched my shy daughter (who has a speech delay) blossom over the year. That experience led me to take a leap at the end of 2025 and buy Hartbeeps Milton Keynes! It's been a huge learning curve, but I'm loving running my own business, being creative, and building a community with so many wonderful families. 💛

What a fantastic week we've had at Pirate Peeps! 🏴‍☠️ We sailed the shores on a wonderful adventure, searching high and low for hidden treasure — and once we found it, the digging and picking for our loot was so much fun! We also enjoyed the classic nursery rhyme Row, Row, Row Your Boat in our sessions. Nursery rhymes are such a powerful tool for little ones — they help boost listening and attention skills, as well as supporting speech and language development. 🎶
