📸Some snaps from Flamingos trip to St.Alban's!✨

🐧 In Science, Penguins learned about the three states of matter (solids, liquids and gasses). Yesterday afternoon, they explored a material that can behave as both a solid and liquid: Oobleck (a mixture of cornflour and water). When pressure is applied, the Oobleck acts like a solid and becomes rigid, but when it is left alone, it starts to flow like a liquid. They had a lot of fun playing with it! ✨

❌Ice-cream Friday is cancelled this Friday due to the high temperatures. ❌

We are relying on cool boxes with ice and the ice-creams will most definitely melt! 🍦

🦅Eagles had a fantastic day at St Albans Cathedral yesterday, learning about the Anglo-Saxons, Romans and the Vikings. They learnt about St Alban and how he refused to change his religion and the children made traditional Viking jam and butter. ✨

✨We are very much looking forward to the Year 6 BBQ and Sleepover on Friday evening! Here is a reminder of the kit list for the sleepover.💤🌭🍔

Water bottles & sun cream are ESSENTIAL!☀️

Please ensure that your child wears comfortable clothes and trainers on the Friday evening for outdoor activities. They will be watching a movie in their classrooms (bedrooms for the night), we will provide some snacks for the children. Please DO NOT send snacks with your children as we have some serious dietary requirements within the year group.🎥🎞️
