☀️ Hot Weather Reminder ☀️

With the hot weather expected over the coming days, children may wear any cool, comfortable clothing that is suitable for school.
As our PE kits are dark in colour and quite thick, children are welcome to wear a cooler alternative if they wish. However, for safety reasons, sandals are not permitted as they can be a trip hazard. Children should continue to wear school shoes or trainers.

Please also ensure that your child:
🧢 Brings a named sun hat 🧴 Has sun cream applied before school
💧 Brings a named water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Hi everyone!! As temperatures are forecast to rise next week, we’ll be making a few short-term changes to help keep everyone cool and comfortable in school.

👕 What pupils can wear
Children are welcome to come to school in their PE kit all week this week (Mon – Fri).

🎒 What to bring each day
A clearly named water bottle
A named sun hat
Sun cream (please apply before school)

🏫 What school will be doing
Adjusting break and outdoor times
Reducing time spent in direct sunlight
Making use of shaded and well-ventilated areas
Ensuring regular access to water
