ποΈ How to Change Lanes Safely β The Lifesaver Routine ποΈ
A safe lane change isn't just about moving across β it's about planning and making sure everyone around you knows your intentions.
β
Mirror β Observe what's happening behind and around you.
β
Signal β Let other road users know what you intend to do.
β
Blind Spot Check β A quick lifesaver glance to make sure nothing is hidden from your mirrors.
β
Secondary Mirror Check β One final look before bringing the bike smoothly into the new lane.
In this video, here's Alan demonstrating the correct lane-changing routine and showing how a simple, systematic approach keeps you safe on the road. Aswell as how to approach & exit multi laned roundabouts.
Remember: Mirror, Signal, Lifesaver, Move.
Ride safe and ride smart! ποΈπ¨

Well guys and girls, we've just taken delivery of our brand new Honda NC750X, and it's ready for our students to enjoy while training for their full licence! ποΈ
Unfortunately, these bikes will be used for Module 2 training only on the full Category A licence. Don't worry thoughβwe still have all of our fantastic Yamaha MT-07s for A2 licence learners and all Module 1 training. π
A massive thank you to Simon at Craig's Honda Shipley for all your support and excellent service. You made the whole process hassle-free from start to finish. We'd highly recommend you to anyone looking for a new bike. I'd also like to thank Ian Bell's, our main Yamaha dealer, for their continued support.
The Yamaha MT-07s have been an incredible success with us as a training provider, and we're looking forward to seeing the new Honda NC750X become just as popular.
Here's to many more miles, happy students, and plenty of smiles! πποΈ
