Today we participated in a careers day for some year 8 pupils to talk about what we do, how we do it and the skills and qualifications needed to make us the best. We were on hand to answer any questions they had and there were some interesting ones to say the least!

What a fantastic group of kids they all did their school proud and we wish them all the luck for their futures!

📣It's Men's Health Week! 📣

This week focuses on both men and boys to open up and talk about their health issues, whether they be physical or mental. This is an important message to spread to as many people as we can.

Evidence suggests that boys and men are less likely to seek mental health care, yet su***de rates among young men and men generally remain high (Department of Health & Social Care).

According to the BUPA Wellbeing Index:

43% of working British men are urging their employers to provide greater mental health support.

😅👏We can now confidently say that kids at St. Agnes' Catholic Primary School Crawcrook have been shown the key stages of first aid!😅👏

Every student we met was great and, honestly, surprised us with their pre-existing knowledge. We managed to cover CPR, choking, and even the recovery position. All critical things to know when discussing valuable first aid training.

We want to give a HUGE thanks to the people at St Agnes' for being so welcoming and communicative while we were there. Now our tutors can recover after doing 30 chest compressions over and over again (it was totally worth it).

Also, we wanted to thank them for the amazing pictures they took; honestly, they got the perfect shots.
