To all the carers out there - we see you, we appreciate you, and our doors are always open for you to dance, connect, or just sit back and catch your breath. π
Caring for a loved one or resident is a beautiful thing, but it can also be exhausting, isolating, and unpredictable. This Carers Week, we want to shine a light on why our inclusive sessions are just as much for the carers as they are for our participants.
When you step into an IMPACD CIC space, you aren't just dropping someone off you are entering a community built on relief, relaxation, and shared joy.
Our sessions are designed to take the pressure off. They provide a safe haven where everyone is accepted exactly as they are, letting the music, movement, and "happy chemicals" do the work.

"It makes me feel alive." πβ¨
What happens when you step onto the dance floor with IMPACD CIC? We asked our community, and their answers moved us to tears.
From finding a sense of peace to discovering a community that feels like family, movement is doing incredible things for our mental health.
You donβt need to be a dancer. You can move a lot, move a little, or just sit back and absorb the music. There is a space waiting here exactly as you are.

Could you lend us a hand? We need you! π€β¨
Itβs Volunteers' Week, and while we love celebrating our incredible existing team, the truth is: we are desperately looking for new volunteers to join the IMPACD CIC family.
As our sessions grow at The Greenway Centre and across Nottinghamshire, our need for extra hands, warm smiles, and supportive hearts has grown too.
You donβt need to be a professional dancer or artist to volunteer with us. We are simply looking for kind, reliable people who can help us:
β¨ Welcome participants and make them feel at home.
β¨ Support our inclusive sessions
β¨ Help create a safe, judgment-free space where everyone belongs.
In return, we promise a community that will cheer you on, plenty of laughter, and the chance to make a tangible difference in people's mental health and wellbeing every single week. Whether you can spare an hour a month or a day a week, we would love to hear from you.
π Ready to take the first step? Drop us a direct message right here on Facebook, or email us to find out how you can get involved.
Stronger together! π
