🎾🌟 Developing Future Leaders Through Sport! 🌟🎾 The Pythian Club
Yesterday, Reece, Miguel, Antonio and Hani were given an incredible opportunity to visit the Nottingham Tennis Centre, where they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour and learned about the many opportunities available within tennis.
The highlight of the day saw all four successfully complete the Tennis Activators Coaching Course, and they will now receive their coaching certificates – a fantastic achievement and the first step on their coaching journey! 👏
The experience was about much more than tennis. Throughout the day, they developed valuable skills including:
✅ Leadership
✅ Teamwork and communication
✅ Confidence and self-belief
✅ Responsibility and professionalism
✅ Resilience and problem-solving
✅ Positive role modelling
✅ Employability and volunteering skills
These opportunities help young people to grow, build aspirations and develop the confidence to become positive leaders within their communities.
A huge well done to Reece, Miguel, Antonio and Hani for embracing this opportunity with enthusiasm and representing themselves brilliantly. We are proud of each and every one of them and look forward to seeing where their journey takes them next.

A fantastic day today as part of The Pythian Club Leadership Programme, delivered in partnership with Futures Advice. Five young people took part in an engaging workshop focused on leadership, responsibility, and creating positive change.
We were also joined by professors and staff from the University of Nottingham, who explored some of the challenges facing our communities and challenged the young people to develop ideas and solutions.
The discussions were insightful, constructive, and inspiring, giving the young people a valuable opportunity to share their views, build confidence, and develop their leadership skills.
A big thank you to Futures and the University of Nottingham for supporting the next generation of community leaders.
A special shout out to Keppy Om for supporting the delivery of this project .
