Transition Days 2026! 🎉

We were delighted to welcome our New Year 7 students to The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form this morning.

It was wonderful to see so many excited faces as students began getting to know their new school, meet staff, and make new friends. We hope they enjoyed their first taste of life with us, and we look forward to welcoming them back tomorrow!

Today marks the end of an important chapter as our Year 13 students finished their A Levels!

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved through your hard work, determination, and resilience. You have shown great commitment throughout your time with us, and we know you have bright futures ahead.

Now it's time to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a well-deserved summer break. ☀️

With the weather warming up over the next week, it is beneficial for students to carry a bottle of water to help them stay hydrated throughout the school day. We have water fountains available around the school site for students to top up their water bottles, or bottles of water are available to purchase from the canteen at breaktime or lunchtime.

🌿 30 Days Wild – Week 2 🌿

Our students have continued embracing nature during Week 2 of our 30 Days Wild challenge through The Wildlife Trusts!

This week, they:
🐾 Took barefoot walks on the grass and connected with nature through touch.
🐕 Enjoyed outdoor walks with their dogs.
📚 Read books outside and spent time appreciating the natural world.
✍️ Wrote some wonderful poems inspired by nature, capturing its beauty and importance.

We're so proud of the enthusiasm and creativity shown by everyone taking part. Nature has provided plenty of inspiration this week!

Data Manager

The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form is seeking to appoint an experienced, organised and highly motivated Data Manager to join our dedicated support staff team.

This is a key role within the academy, responsible for the leadership, development and management of all school data systems, ensuring that student information, assessment data and statutory returns are accurate, timely and effectively utilised to support school improvement.

Working closely with senior and middle leaders, the successful candidate will play a vital role in analysing and reporting on student progress and attainment, maintaining core school systems, supporting the academy's assessment and reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with all statutory data requirements.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
