I care for children aged 3 months to 11 years old. I received Good in my last Ofsted inspection. I have been childminding for 24 years now. Home from home

Lovely time spent in the wildlife museum on Wollaton Park. Secretly hidden away at the back of the shop. Not always open but it was great to go in today. The little ones were amazed and so excited

I am not ill very often but it’s been a bit of a traumatic week this week. Went in the hospital on Wednesday to have a procedure done on my nose as I had a basal carcinoma. Bit worse than we thought. 3 times in with scrapings each time. 4th time I had a skin graft. I am all good and an amazing parent has just removed my first dressing. Thank you everyone for the kind words, gifts and looking after me. I still can’t bend down and have to take it easy. Lovely doctor and his bedside manner was the best. Let’s hope it all heals well now. Never give up speaking to your doctor if you think something isn’t right. The longer it is left the harder it is to put right # # #

The old toys are always the best. 28 years old and still providing so much fun. Using their imagination and construction play.

We spent the morning in the woods and Wellington Park doing Forest School. It was a little wet this morning. Enjoying the outdoors.

We are growing so many things at the moment. Beans, sunflower, carrots, cabbages, radishes, courgettes, tomatoes. The children love watering them and watching them grow

Inset day spent at Highfields. The sun is out. A nice picnic and walk home. Just having fun

Having some fun with playdough. Squashing and squeezing. Rolling out and cutting shadows. Using their imaginations. Fine motor skills and malleable play. Love this. They had so much fun x

Such a quiet day today. We started off with toddler group then headed over the Jubilee Campus for a walk to see the goslings. Walk through the woods. Then home for nap and then pick up the afterschoolers. We also enjoyed popping in to see our little cat friend who we are taking care of while the parents are away.
