🎨🌄 As part of our Art topics this term, Year 5/6 have been learning about the famous artist David Hockney. Today, they created their own stunning artwork inspired by the rolling hills of Yorkshire using oil pastels. 🖍️✨

The children explored Hockney’s use of colour and landscape, using bright, vivid shades to bring their creations to life. The results are fantastic, showcasing both their creativity and artistic skills! 🌈👏

Alder Class have been getting creative with clay as part of our art learning inspired by the work of Antoni Gaudí. The children explored shaping, smoothing and adding texture to design their own unique garden ornaments.
We’ve loved seeing their imaginative ideas come to life, using organic shapes and patterns influenced by Gaudí’s colourful and natural style. Each piece shows wonderful creativity and care, and we can’t wait to see them brighten up our garden space! 🌿✨

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for this morning’s Family Breakfast event. It was wonderful to come together and celebrate the special people in our children’s lives.

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and happy memories as families enjoyed spending quality time together. It was lovely to see the joy on the children’s faces as they shared breakfast with their loved ones.
