The children really enjoyed our visit to Paignton Zoo. They said hello to the new rhinos and told them their names! ๐ They saw Brad, the new giraffe, the new rheas and the week old river hogglets! We rescued a caterpillar off the path and watched carefully how he moved, talking about his colours and hair.

Dinosaur Day ๐ฆ - We liked watching the children go into school dressed as dinosaurs on our school run this morning! We then went to see the dinosaurs on Teignmouth seafront. (Good thing I have a little dino expert to know all the names!) We then had a play in the park. We did some fantastic balancing and trying new challenges. Then off back to the setting to play with the dinosaur set and do some dancing to โWalk the dinosaurโ!

We caught the bus to Torquay. We had to look at the numbers on the bus to make sure we got the right one. Excellent number spotting! We walked around Kings Gardens and saw the swan nesting, lots of mallard ducklings and also a coot with babies in her nest. We walked around Torre Abby and looked at the paintings they have on display at the moment. We went for lunch and a play at the ERC, before getting the bus back home. Lots of members of public said how well behaved we were so Becca was very proud. ๐

One of our favourite places to visit, Paignton Zoo. The children always enjoy seeing the animals and there are different ones out and about to see each time. The baby monkey playing with them was a big hit. ๐

Visiting the forest school area at Sherwell Valley Primary school with the Early Years South West Stronger Practice Hub. The children listened so well and followed instructions brilliantly. They enjoyed moving with ribbons, making natural prints with dough, collecting natural materials and listening to a story.
