He has taken the best elements of each to create his own unique martial arts system, designed to teach a variety of weapon combinations and fight systems in the most successful way whilst remaining true to each weapons original purpose and exploring the merits of them. This system is effective for learning the footwork, physicality and strength required to successfully wield these weapons at the top level required and use them to devastating effect. Len believes in a cutting system true to what a weapon would have been capable of and we offer several test cutting workshops to test your abilities as you progress too! The LFC covers a wide range of weapons and disciplines used throughout history. If you're inspired by the two weapon wielding in Spartacus, the Great sword sparring of Game of Thrones or the broad sword battles of the Vikings, why not come and find out how those weapons truly work in practise and what your weapon of choice might eventually be? As well as schooling this unique martial art, we also offer one of the only locations in London to come and spar with other fighters and improve your knowledge of the blade through practise with other safely trained practitioners. LFC HEMA covers the longsword (two handed), bastard sword (hand-and-a-half), sword and buckler, sabre and rapier and dagger. LFC DAMA covers the broadsword, langseaxe, axe, round shield, one and two handed spears and the two handed Dane axe. DAMA is unique to the LFC and covers all things Dark Ages. It is the only organisation to train this fighting method. LFC trains every Wednesday and Sunday;

Membership: £40 a month including all sessions
Individual: £7.00 per session
