The children were thrilled to explore their new surroundings, showing wonderful curiosity, excitement, and enthusiasm as they looked all around.Rhyme Time was bursting with fun and energy! The Squirrels joined in amazingly, singing lots of their favourite nursery rhymes, learning cheerful new songs together, and listening beautifully to the stories. To make the morning even more memorable, they had the very exciting chance to meet the Mayor!

Across the nursery the children had a wonderful time celebrating World Day for Cultural Diversity πβ¨
The children explored different cultures through music, food, stories, crafts, dancing and sensory activities while learning about kindness, inclusion and respecting others.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed exploring musical instruments, creating flags and artwork inspired by different countries, taking part in Eid-themed activities and learning about traditions and celebrations from around the world. Some children proudly shared artwork from home.
It was beautiful celebration of diversity, kindness and inclusion within our nursery family β€οΈπ

π A Buzzing Visit at Forest School! π―πΏ
We had the loveliest surprise in our Badgers pre-school room during Forest School we welcomed Tony from the Bee Association in Reading! The children were absolutely captivated as Tony showed us how bees build their hives and work together as a super-busy team to make honey.
Out in the fresh air, we explored the wonderful world of bees, spoke about why theyβre so important for our flowers and plants, and even got to try a little taste of honey π― β lots of happy βyum!β faces all round.
To finish, the children got hands-on and made their very own beeswax candles to bring home β what a gorgeous little keepsake (and they were very proud of their work!). A big day of learning, exploring, and having fun in nature πβ¨
A huge thank you to Tony for a fantastic visit β you really made our Forest School session bee-rilliant!
