Dear Parents & Carers

Further to my letter this morning & having monitored the classroom temperatures this afternoon, we will be closing after lunch tomorrow at 1pm.

We will remain closed to all pupils on Wednesday and Thursday. Twilight club will also be closed during this period.

Please also remember that we are closed on Friday for Staff training.

Year 6 have had a great last day on the giant swing, archery and climbing! Now on our way home.

Day 2 of residential has been lots of fun with crate stacking, raft building, sensory trail, disc golf and we’ve now got a camp fire to finish off the day 🔥

Year 6 have had a fun first day with Aeroball and Climbing. Topped off with Disco and watching England’s first World Cup Game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Last day of residential was a blast with the high ropes, zip line and the flying kiwi!

Year 4 finished off the afternoon with more activities before having a delicious bbq with choc ices and watermelon for pudding!

We’ve had lots of fun on the low ropes, bouldering, mountain boarding and crate building already this morning!

Year 4 have arrived at Oakwood and are ready to go for their first activities! Photos to follow later…

We were so lucky yesterday to have 5 volunteers from Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks to update our Red Kite garden and refresh some of our benches.
