Muddy Ducks Nursery

Today we celebrated Joshi's birthday! Joshi is 4 today and bought yummy cakes to share. We played some circle games out in our lovely garden.

Today we said a big Happy 4th Birthday to Rose!
We enjoyed some yummy caterpillar cake and a hug from birthday bear.

Today we have enjoyed lots of water play. We explored with ice, ‘it’s cold’ ‘it’s slippery’ ‘it’s cracking’ ‘it’s melting’.
We did a spot of fishing checking the numbers on the fish we caught and we washed our dolls with some bubbly water.

More bubbles, but this time even bigger!
The bubbles were so big we could fit inside them. We had so much fun!

It is Global Wind day today, we read 'Leaf Man' which talks about where the leaves might travel when the wind blows. We then had fun blowing bubbles and watching them blow in the wind.

We had our story and song time under our new parachute shelter today. The children were very excited to sit underneath it.

As you may know our willow needed to be pollarded, so we needed a new shade and shelter solution for our story circle! Today we had our new parachute shelter installed by Just Grow Forest School Limited. We are so looking forward to testing it out tomorrow!

Also just to say our beautiful willow already has lots of new shoots so should be back to looking its best again soon! 🤞🏻💕🌳

Look how beautiful the meadow is looking at the moment; we as so lucky to be able to have adventures in such amazing surroundings!

It’s today!

We read ‘Animals in the ocean’ and ‘Commotion in the ocean.’ We made sticky starfish ⭐️ and we enjoyed playing with our wooden sea creatures.
