The Curiosity Cafe is a play space inspired by The Curiosity Approach, where children are encouraged to grow & learn through curiosity & imagination alongside their parents & carers.

✨ JULY SESSIONS ARE NOW LIVE ✨
Our July dates are now available to book, and we’d love to welcome you along for some more magical play and exploration.
We also want to let you know that these will be our final sessions for a little while as we take a break from The Curiosity Cafe.
As many children’s activity providers and small businesses will understand, the current financial climate is proving incredibly challenging. The Curiosity Cafe is something we care deeply about and have poured our hearts into, so this has been a difficult decision to make.
During this break, we’ll be taking some time to reflect on how we can continue and what the future might look like for The Curiosity Cafe.
To every family who has joined us, supported us, recommended us, and believed in what we’re creating l, thank you. Your support means more than you know. ❤️
Spaces for our July sessions are limited, so if you’ve been meaning to book, now is the time! Secure your place before we take our break and help us make these final sessions extra special.

Watching those little fingers carefully manoeuvre the tweezers, scoop the rice, and explore the tray reminded me that some of the richest learning often happens in the simplest invitations. ✨
There was no right or wrong way to play here. Just time, space, and curiosity.
As he explored, he was strengthening the small muscles in his hands, developing coordination, practising concentration, and figuring things out for himself. Skills that will support so many future tasks, but for now, simply part of the joy of play.
I love observing moments like these. It’s easy to look at a tray of rice and a pair of tweezers and see a simple activity, but when you slow down and watch, there’s so much learning taking place.
At The Curiosity Cafe, we believe children learn best when they’re given opportunities to explore, investigate, and follow their own interests. Sometimes all it takes is a thoughtfully prepared invitation and a little bit of curiosity. 💛

With the warmer weather arriving, you’ll be pleased to know our amazing air conditioning is keeping the space cool, comfortable and perfect for play, whatever the temperature outside. ❄️☀️
To help maintain the calm, relaxing atmosphere we’re known for, we limit the number of spaces available at each session. This means sessions can fill up quickly!

✨ Half Term Closure ✨
The Curiosity Cafe will be CLOSED over the May half term break so our team can enjoy some well-deserved family time and recharge ready for more magical play adventures! 💛
We will also remain closed on Monday 1st June due to an inset day, giving our lovely team the chance to spend some extra time with their own little ones too 🫶
We can’t wait to welcome you all back afterwards for more curiosity, creativity, and cappuccinos ☕✨

beautiful bee-themed set up was ready and waiting today for our little ones to explore, create and play! 🌼🍯
From buzzing activities to hands-on learning invitations, the children had such a lovely time discovering all about our tiny pollinator friends. 💛
A little reminder that it’s never too late to celebrate something wonderful, especially when it inspires curiosity, imagination and care for the world around us. 🐝✨

A little update from us at The Curiosity Cafe 💙
For now, our Home Ed sessions will be taking a little pause.
We’ve absolutely loved welcoming the families who have joined us, shared ideas, explored alongside us and brought such lovely energy to the sessions. Unfortunately, right now we aren’t seeing quite enough interest to keep them running in the way we’d hoped.
Rather than saying goodbye, we’re simply pressing pause while we reflect, regroup and explore what future Home Ed opportunities at The Curiosity Cafe could look like ✨
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this part of our journey so far, it has truly meant a lot.
As always, curiosity, creativity and community remain at the heart of everything we do 🌿
