Richard Ikin MBE: “My time studying at Salford will always be a fond memory of night school twice a week in a not-so-warm lecture room on top floor with dodgy massive wall heaters in the room, I understand the heating is now considerably much improved!”
I can confirm the heating at The University of Salford is 100% better! 1991 Human Resource Management graduate, Richard, is now giving back to his university by being a guest lecturer on the Employment Relations course.

It was lovely to bring Salford graduates together in London last month for our latest Alumni Social.
Hosted by our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nic Beech, the evening gave alumni the chance to catch up, meet other graduates and hear more about what’s happening at the University. Our University Archivist, Alex Mitchell, also brought along a few pieces from the archives, which sparked plenty of memories and conversations about people’s time at Salford.
