🌊 Sunny Days = Water Play! 🌊☀️

With hot weather expected for the next 1–2 weeks, please send your child in light, weather‑appropriate clothing. We’ll be keeping the nursery cool and enjoying lots of splashing, pouring and water fun.

A sun hat and easy‑to-change clothes make a big difference on warm days.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone happy and comfortable in the sunshine 🌈

🌿 Mindfulness in the Garden 🌿

Our children enjoyed a wonderful mindfulness session in the garden this week, taking time to slow down, and focus on the present moment.
Through gentle breathing exercises, the children developed their awareness and wellbeing while enjoying the fresh air and outdoor environment.
These moments of calm help to support emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and encourage children to appreciate the world around them. We are so proud of how engaged and thoughtful everyone was during the session.

🍃🌼 Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and enjoy nature can make a big difference to our day! 🌼🍃

Today the children enjoyed making play dough pizzas in our outdoor mud kitchen! 🍕🌿

Using a variety of toppings, the children rolled, squeezed, pinched and shaped their dough, helping to develop their fine motor and physical skills. They used their wonderful imaginations to create delicious pizzas, sharing ideas and working together with their friends.

This activity also encouraged lots of language development as the children talked about ingredients, described their creations and engaged in imaginative role play. A fantastic opportunity for learning through play, creativity and social interaction in the great outdoors! 😊🍅🧀

Today our little explorers ventured into a wonderful gloop swamp adventure! 🐊🐒

The children had great fun getting messy as they investigated the gloop, scooping, pouring, dripping and splashing while watching out for crocodiles in the swamp! Alongside our cheeky chimpanzees, we sang "Three Cheeky Monkeys Swinging Through the Trees," encouraging language development, imagination and communication skills.

Through sensory play, the children explored different textures and movements, and developed their vocabulary. It was fantastic to see their curiosity and confidence grow as they immersed themselves in the messy play experience.

A fun-filled day of exploring, discovering and learning! 💚✨

The babies have been enjoying some soft play this morning. They have been climbing, crawling and balancing on the different equipment using those big gross motor skills and strengthening their core muscles, limbs and developing their overall coordination. ✨️

Soft play and ball pits offer lots of development benefits for babies. These include vital sensory stimulation, developing gross motor skills and their cognitive growth.

Some of the bigger babies enjoyed some large scale building with the soft plat. There were lots of interactions between them and try were building good relationships working as a team. 😃
