☀️ HEATWAVE UPDATE ☀️

Due to the ongoing heatwave and the impact of local school closures on staffing levels, school will close at 12.20pm on Wednesday and will be closed all day on Thursday.

Work will be set on Google Classroom for both days so that learning can continue from home.

We have also made the difficult decision to postpone this week's performances of Mary Poppins. We know how much hard work has gone into the production and share everyone's disappointment, but we want the show to be enjoyed in the best possible conditions. A new date will be announced as soon as possible.

The same hot weather safety measures that were in place today will continue to ensure students remain safe, comfortable and ready to learn.

🏆🎮 Sparx Maths Champion! 🎮🏆

A huge congratulations to Max Gray, who achieved the highest number of XP points across the entire school in Sparx Maths this year!

Thanks to his outstanding commitment and dedication to completing his maths homework, Max has won the top prize – an Xbox! 🎉

👏 Congratulations also go to our 10 runners-up, who have each won a set of headphones for their fantastic efforts throughout the year.

At Redbridge, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and resilience our students show every week. This competition has demonstrated that dedication and consistency really do pay off!

Our students are making the most of their final day in Italy before flying home.

After an unforgettable few days exploring Florence, visiting iconic landmarks, creating delicious pizzas and pasta, and experiencing Italian culture firsthand, students have been given the opportunity to use their remaining euros to choose a restaurant of their choice and enjoy some authentic Italian cuisine.

It’s been a fantastic trip filled with learning, laughter, independence and memories that will last a lifetime.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back and hearing all about their favourite moments from this amazing adventure!

What a fantastic day our students have had in Florence!

From mastering traditional Italian techniques during a pizza-making session 🍕 and getting hands-on in a pasta workshop 🍝, to exploring some of Italy’s most iconic landmarks and world-famous artwork, it has been a day full of unforgettable experiences.

Students were able to admire the breathtaking Duomo, take in the beauty and history of the Uffizi Gallery, and immerse themselves in Italian culture every step of the way.

A perfect combination of food, art, history and culture – creating memories that will last a lifetime!

🇮🇹✨ Florence Trip Update! ✨🇮🇹

Our students were up bright and early for a visit to the magnificent Galleria dell’Accademia, home to some of Italy’s most famous masterpieces. After taking in the incredible artwork, they enjoyed a walk through the beautiful streets of Florence, soaking up the sights and atmosphere of this historic city.

The adventure continued with Part One of our Pizza Making Experience, where students teamed up with Italian chefs at Osteria Il Giardino di Barbano to learn the secrets behind authentic Italian pizza. 🍕👨‍🍳

A fantastic day of culture, history and hands-on learning – and there’s still more to come!
